About the Author
Daniel O’Brien has created the Japan Series out of a passion for learning and intentionally filled his novels with Japanese cultural and historical points most of which he experienced personally or learned through a masters degree and teaching in high school. Each novel carries a theme such as “connections”, “friendship” and “exploration”.
He hopes that others find his musings on universal principles, learned in conjunction with the writing process, (as a member of a meditation center) as engaging and enlightening as he feels the learning has been for him. He uses the writing process to learn about giving attention to detail. He hopes that the mysterious aspect of his stories creates joy in his readers as it has for him. May all beings share in the joy of living!
